The Rail Supply Group’s SME council* is hosting a conference during the afternoon of the 28th January in central London. The purpose of the event will be to provide a forum through which the upper tiers of the rail supply chain can communicate its aspirations to engage more widely with small to medium sized companies and their appetite to drive earlier contract involvement.
Purposefully timed to take place between the launch of the Rail Sector Deal and the commencement of Control Period 6 the conference will allow delegates to learn how they can better interact with top tier suppliers and will provide an opportunity to discuss the major challenges that may currently impede such relationships being developed.
The conference will feature a number of senior figures from across the sector both as speakers and delegates, thus providing ample opportunity for worthwhile networking with peers, clients and suppliers.
*The RSG SME council is a sub-group within and supporting the Rail Supply Group and its purpose is to promote and optimise the contribution of UK SMEs to the Rail Industry.
