The RSG will be hosting SME-focused workshops to discuss the Rail Sector Deal which is being developed in consultation with, and on behalf of, our industry.
RSG, in partnership with the RDG, has been working with Government to develop an industry leading and transformative deal that will shape our industry over the next 20 years, boosting productivity, employment, innovation and skills.
This Sector Deal proposal offers the industry a unique opportunity to champion the substantial contribution the rail sector makes to the UK economy and to push for the necessary support to drive our industry forward.
As part of this process, we are engaging with the supply chain at all levels to inform the Rail Sector Deal bid. If you would like the opportunity to shape the future of the industry, we would like to encourage you to attend one of our workshops. Please register your interest ahead of the event by clicking on one of the following links.
Who should attend?
Small to Medium‐sized Enterprises involved or wishing to be involved in the rail supply chain. This covers all companies up to 250 employees with a turnover not exceeding £50m pa.
“The Rail Sector Deal is a tremendous industry opportunity to secure an agreement with Government to progress a number of key sector priorities that will ensure that Britain’s rail industry is truly world leading and reaches its full potential.
“Whilst significant progress has been made, there is still a considerable amount of work to be undertaken to support securing the Sector Deal. This is where you can help. We would greatly appreciate your contributions to the discussion, so we can move forward to the next stage to ensure the best possible Deal is submitted to Government.”
